Choosing the Right Hardwood Flooring
The warmth and beauty of a fresh timber hardwood floor can add light to a room with its unique characteristics. Choosing the right hardwood flooring for your home can be a daunting challenge. Whether you’re looking for a dark timber, light timber or something in between, there’s something to suit every space. We’ve grouped our hardwood timber floors into four colour categories to help you narrow down your search.
Light
Our light hardwood floorings have the ability to lift a space out of the doldrums, giving it life and vibrance. They range from blondes to browns and include a variety of timbers such as Blackbutt, Brushbox, New England Blackbutt, Northern Beech Species, Silvertop Stringybark, Spotted Gum, Tallowwood, Tasmanian Oak and Turpentine.
Dark
If you’re looking for something to raise your furniture’s profile as well as highlight the colours in your upholstery and decorative items then a dark, roasted flooring could be a great option to help you do just that. Our dark hardwood flooring range includes Roasted Caramel, Roasted Cayenne and Roasted Peat.
Grey
Our range of grey hardwoods are characterised by unique and intricate patterns. Because of their detailing, they have the ability to add a sophisticated look and feel to a space. Check out our Grey Box, Grey Gum and Grey Ironbark.
Red
Some hardwoods have a stunning red colour about them and are extremely versatile in their usage. The true red hardwoods, such as Red Ironbark, Red Gum and Red Mahogany are amongst the strongest timbers available.
