The Readycork Series produced by Premium Floors is one of the first cork floors that calls for a glue-free installation process. Cork floors have been enhancing the interior of homes for decades, and are sustainably produced by harvesting the bark from Cork Oak trees in nine year intervals. Because Cork trees are only harvested as opposed to cut down, Readycork floors offer a truly environmentally friendly product. In addition to cork’s environmental benefits, it is also an excellent sound insulator, is considerably soft underfoot, easy to clean, and low in emissions output.
Readycork flooring is available in two respective collections, known as the Ambient and Vita collections. The Readycork Ambient Series is an engineered cork tile stained with a natural cork finish, and completed with five protective coats of scratch resistant UV lacquer. The plank dimensions are available in 910mm L by 300mm W. On the other hand, the Readycork Vita is a high-definition digitally printed laminate that exudes the appearance of solid timber without relinquishing the benefits of a cork floor. The Vita Series is protected by high-performance PUR coating, a 25 year residential wear warranty, and utilizes the innovative Uniclic lock-in system to make installation as fast and easy as possible.
