Developed by Australia’s world famous hardwood timber distributor, Hurford Hardwood, the Hurford Roasted Flooring Range is a high quality timber floor available in three magnificent color options. The superior planks found in this collection include hardwood planks that have undergone a thorough heating and cooling process, which alters the molecular structure of the wood in such a way that it increases the timber’s durability, stability, and aesthetic appearance. This high-temperature heating process permanently alters the color of the timber by penetrating the plank completely, and creates a unique color change of the wood through and through. As a result, these planks can be sanded down without the worry of altering the color. The Hurford Hardwood Roasted collection is available in deep red brown Cayenne, Dark Earth Peat, and Dark Golden Brown Caramel, while offering standard, wide, and extra wide plank dimensions. The collection can also be purchased as a solid timber overlay in either a 10mm or 14mm plank thickness. Further customization is possible by selecting one of the two available grades; the light to medium grade, otherwise known as the Prestige, and is an excellent choice where ultra-thick wood is unnecessary. For homeowners seeking a thick grade floor without compromising the floor's overall quality, the Rustic grade is highly recommended.
